Guardian Blog competition

Call me cheap, call me lacking in moral fibre, call me whatever you like, I’m sure you already do…

I have entered the Best British Blog Competition.

I did comment on this a couple of days ago, but after careful consideration I have decided that I could really do with £s;1000… 😉

Seriously though, Neil defends the competition, and answers the questions that I had. Ultimately this is a small competition that will probably not cause even the smallest ripple in the ‘real world’, but is a good way of promoting the British Bloggers. His closing statement is the most telling I think: “If you feel your blog is such a pure piece of personal expression… that it would be sullied by the evils of competition and cash prizes, then don’t enter.”
