Having had time to think about it, I now have a one-line description of Troy: It’s exactly what you’d expect.
In fact I agree with most of these press reviews: The L.A. Times sums it up perfectly for me. It’s almost the sum of it’s parts.
I leave the final word on this movie to the Chicago Sun Times:
“Homer’s estate should sue.”
I think that sums up the entire project on ohhh so many levels.
