Return of the King

Return of the King

It is a testament to both the Director, script writer and the special effects department that this film closed out the trilogy in such epic fashion. The fight scenes were immense in scale, detail and action, and the dual storylines were well edited to maintain the pace of the movie. I don’t really know what else to say… ohh apart from the last 30 mins. Ohhh the last 30 minutes. Well written and produced but ohhh so very long. Still I’ve heard it’s more faithful to the books that way, and I guess it’s better than the typical Hollywood “they all lived happily ever after” ending. Ultimately still one film in the possibly the greatest film trilogy ever screened (aside from the soft spot Star Wars will always hold in my heart).
