It got me thinking about similar childhood ‘events’, and made me realise how few there were (or at least how few I remember). In fact the most memorable ‘silly child’ moment I can recall is when I managed to remove the lightbulb from my bedside lamp and, wondering what the two pins in the socket were, decided to push them with my fingers. Man, that hurt.
