Yawn

No motivation, post holiday blues.

So I’ll fill a little time by telling you a story.

In a village in Spain, a woman of undetermined age (let’s say she’s my mother-in-law) is accompanied by her daughter to a shop to buy postage stamps. They approach the counter, behind which sits an elderly Spaniard. In her best (just rehearsed) Spanish, she asks for seven stamps to be used to send letters to Scotland. The elderly man smirks slightly, and without saying a word, places the stamps on the counter. The woman puzzled by his expression, pays for the stamps as leaves. She returns to her home and relates the story to her husband, who speaks fluent Spanish.

He laughs hard for a moment and explains that she had asked for seven toilets to be delivered to Scotland….
