I’ve got a lot going on at the moment which means I’ve not been posting here.
Big whoop, right.
Yeah, work is busy.
At home we are in the last week of Jack attending nursery (his last day tomorrow!) and we are spending next week in Nethybridge —yes the one that was evacuated last week cos of the wildfire in the Cairngorms. I’ll still be working but at least it’s a different location, different (quieter) roads to ride on my bike.
As ever this blog is the place that gets dropped, but that’s only right as ultimately this blog doesn’t really matter. It’s an outlet, but nothing more.
I do value it though, so I will still be posting longer Musings for, as mentioned previously, I ALWAYS have plenty of drafts waiting.
After all those Musings help me understand things; similar to what Rands recently wrote:
Why do I write? I write because I am curious and like to understand the world. Writing forces me to understand a thing, a person, a situation. I don’t think many humans do this, but I am addicted to it. But that is not why I write.
And this is not to forget my growing daily Crucial Tracks habit, it’s a nice 10 minute distraction during a busy day, focussed around music, my favourite of all the arts.
Add in writing in my journal every night —again 5 mins or so tops— and exercising for at least 30 mins everyday and, well, may I’m too busy, just refocussing my time right now.
What are your thoughts?
