Artificial Intelligence is prevalent, hard to avoid, and stokes conversation, discussion, and disagreement. I see it as a tool, not a trusted ‘companion’.
Writing
I write all the posts by hand, from my brain to my fingertips to the keyboard. I have used A.I. in the past to create Featured Images for posts but, after consideration, have switched away from that practice.
I have used A.I. to do some basic research on occasion, or to make sure I’ve considered or covered different opinions to mine, but I never ever take A.I. generated sentences and post them.
Yup, the mistakes are ALL MINE.
Vibe coding
I have used AI to help provide some code for this website, and for two little apps I built for myself too. That’s been fun, frustrating, but a good way to use AI as a tool.
