What song makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger?
I’ve stood in a sun drenched field in Glastonbury, alongside thousands of my fellow humans, and as this track came on. It was a quiet moment between bands on the main stage. I was sitting on the grass. The song began, knowing heads nodded, and by the time the song crescendo it was a mass, unprompted, singalong.
It was a moment of magic that stuck with me, a congregation of like minds, all lost in the moment, all joined by a simple refrain, a repeated call that pulled us together.
