Tomorrow our Christmas tree goes up. This brings immeasurable joy to my darling wife and, somehow, this is a compromise. The compromise being that it isn’t up all year. Not sure how she got me to agree to that one, she can be a devious so-and-so sometimes.

Our new office coffee machine is up and running. Lovely. A Kenyan blend to start with. Ohh and if you are looking for a nice Xmas pressie, it was only £7 from Asda. Think I’ll pick one up at the weekend.

Time for a new video card for my PC. Currently have 64MB Video Card that came with the PC and Pro Evolution Soccer 4 is running like a dog. I’ve got a reasonable machine as it is (P4, 1GB RAM, oodles of drive space) but this is the one area that is lacking. Any suggestions? nVidia or ATI? Price IS a consideration, brand isn’t. I’m hoping for 128MB for under £60. Possible? Of course if anyone wants to buy it for me for Xmas… hint hint.

UPDATE: My nephew has offered his old one which he says will suffice. Not sure the spec yet, or what he is charging, AND I can’t get it until he gets his new one in January.. but hey, I’m sure a fiver will do, right Christopher? 😉
