I love my bed. Which is odd as I spend increasingly less time with it, yet it never complains, whines or moans, but welcomes me with the same soothing creak and clunk everytime.

But that loving welcome is not given for free, ohh no, there are unwritten demands, unspoken requirements which you willingly trade for those hours of gentle warmth and comfort.

The demand is subtle yet compelling, you find yourself drawn to it, powerless to deny. For what price, what cheap payment it is. A few extra minutes snatched from your day, a fleeting moment spent with a loved one, why no price at all, in fact you willingly concede to those gentle demands time and again.

Until the bedroom door bangs open, startling you and your guilty pleasure.

Done a little tidying up and updating behind the scenes. Add a little to the About page, the film reviews are now up-to-date (and I’ve discovered that paying £10 a month to UGC is actually costing me money so far as I’ve not seen the 24 or so movies I need to, only 6 short mind you…). Err… and some under the hood tweaks to code and stuff… that’s about it.

Tell me, does anyone visit the “Wordage” stuff anymore?

iTunes is great. On my home PC, but it struggles along on my work laptop so I’ve ditched it and gone back to Winamp. Except this is Winamp 5, a whole new world. Except it’s not really. It’s iTunes Winamp style. Smart lists, a reworked media library that looks suspiciously similar, song ratings.. hang on a minute..

Hmmm maybe better grab that download before the Apple lawyers get a look at it…
