We’ve all worked on little home projects, even if it’s ‘just’ your website. You take pride and care in getting things how you envision them.
Rustboy is a CGI film that takes that a step further as it is produced using ‘home software’. Looks.. awesome already! (via I love everything)

Escape!

Meetings all day. Work done = zero. How does that work then?

Still, working at home tomorrow and Friday, reviewing some documents and doing a little research into some stuff for work (XML, single source, can’t say more than that).

Managed to get some pics done for the Blogathon/26 things at lunchtime. Only a few to go, a couple of which I’ll need to take at night in Glasgow, but I’m confident that I’ll have 26 photos by the weekend.

Whether they’ll be 26 good photos is another issue.

Can you find Wally?

Lyle is now at Dummies for Destruction.

Seems like Wiley have finally played their ‘big boy’ card and had his old site pulled. So update your links y’all, and remember, Wiley publishing is evil*.

* In my opinion of course

Funky

Coding away on a little project.

Just me, and Herbie Hancock.

I've won a kitchen? WOW!

Are you sick of all those sales people cold calling you? Or those phone calls that tell you that you have been picked and have won a new kitchen! or a holiday!, or a ‘style makeover for a room of your choice’! … etc etc ad infinitum.

In short, do you want more control of YOUR phone?

Do you have this problem, and no-one else will help, maybe you should hire … the A-Team … BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM!!!!

Errr… hang on..

Sorry, what I meant to say was try the Telephone Preference Service. The blurb:

“The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) helps you to make sure your telephone number is no longer available to organisations who may telephone you with offers and information you do not wish to receive.

Under Government legislation introduced on 1 May 1999 It is unlawful to make unsolicited direct marketing calls to individuals who have indicated that they do not want to receive such calls. “

Worth a try if you ask me.

Gordon McLean Limited

Jann asks if he needs to be a limited company. Something I’ve been meaning to ask recently as well, so extended thanks to Lyle for his wise words (now there’s a sentence I never thought I’d write…). Ohh and Steve, I hope your offer extends in my direction too…
