Rock Star Saturday

Lazy Sunday. Family over for BBQ. Sister’s new boyfriend is OK I s’pos, seemed nice, but looks can be deceiving, we’ll see.

Managed to make it to the gym (aren’t I good!) this morning, got long needed haircut, etc etc. Nice relaxing weekend, the way they should be.

Go to MP3.com, search for the track ‘Gone’ by Godplayer. It’s currently No.1 in the metalcore section. Seems that my sister’s boyfriend’s band is currently getting airtime on U.S. radio! OMG – She’ going out with a Rock Star!!

Hicky Burpday

Happy Birthday Stuart!! Gosh you ARE getting old aren’t you… 😉

So far so Saturday. Bit of shopping/exploring in Costco (Do we REALLY need 20lbs of mince? Or a tray of 20 Danish pastries…?). Home to potter about the house, and start thinking about, possibly, a BBQ tomorrow. Ohh must remember and actually build the damn thing I suppose. Weather doesn’t look to promising though so it may be a ‘grilled chicken and salad’ meal.. we’ll have to wait and see.

Thinking about getting up early and going to the gym, I think this is better than going tonight. I mean it’s Saturday night, I should be wining, dining, and partying the night away. Ohh wait I’m think of someone else.. silly me.

No, absolutely not. Mainly because I would hate for any of my close friends to see what I am like at work!

2. you work for an optical store. jimmy has broken his glasses and his parents are agonizing over the price of replacements. a competitor is selling identical glasses for half-price. do you send jimmy’s parents there?
Yes.

3. you are a reporter. the family of a murder victim has refused your requests for picture and interview. your editor demands that you keep calling them. do you?
Yes but leave it a day or so.
