Willing

speakeasy – carey taps into my current thoughts. The man is obviously psychic, and powerfully so as there are a few thousands miles between us (4196 miles to be more precise, although as I’m not sure exactly where in South Florida he lives, this may be several miles out, but you get my point. Don’t you?)

Currently splitting myself in two at work, and feel constrained by it. If I was freed up to do one job I would be able to do it much better. Frustrating and fruitless I battle on. It WILL change one day. I know it will because I WILL make it happen.

Men vs Women

Women beat men in web browsing – is this the same kinda thing as:
“Honey, where are the car keys?”
“Hanging up, where they always are!”
“Where? I can’t find them”
Woman stomps through, and lifts them off the peg where they always hang.

“Ohh thanks. You meant hanging there… right.. ta.” Man exits sheepishly.

Thief

Relaxing weekend, so far. Tweaking website, lunch at our current fav little cafe, and remembered to pay for last week as well. Didn’t I tell you? We managed to walk out without paying last week. Normally pay for your stuff then sit down, I was waiting on Louise, so I quickly ordered then grabbed a free booth (having spotted several people walking in). In my haste to get a seat I didn’t pay at that point thinking that I would pay when we left.

Except we didn’t. Wasn’t until later on I realised. Doh!

Off to catch up on some surfing.

Thanks

Ohhh and finally – last, but not ever EVER least – big thanks to carey for a new logo design – it’ll be tweaked and used v.soon!

You is da man! Mad props!! Big up ya homie!! (I’m pretty sure that is hip street lingo but then I’m ancient (do they even call it lingo anymore?))

Compliance

Mayor of London. A good site, very informative, kept up-to-date, easy to navigate and quite modern feeling for a government site.

Question: Why advertise it on a billboard near Parkhead in Glasgow?

Just curious…

In other news
Valid CSS!

CSS2 compliance achieved!! Woo Hoo!!

One page XHTML compliant – the rest getting screwed by non UTF8 characters but should have that sorted by Sunday or so.

I’m so happy I could cry. (OK not really, mild satisfaction is probably more apt).

20 years

adam-ant.net – my how things have changed in the last twenty years. Hang on a sec, TWENTY YEARS? Are you sure? Ohhh shit….

Twenty years…

I’m officially old.

Time for another drink.
