Bicycle race

As ever big plans for tonight. Sort out CD collection – needs re-organised after the move. Cut the grass, has been needing done for about a week or so now.. at very minimum pull out the bush like plants that keep destroying the mower blades! However I have the feeling that those plans will be scuppered as we pick up our shiny new mountain bike things. Now there’s a misnomer ‘mountain bike’. I mean I know we live at the top of a very big hill, but it ain’t no mountain.

Tune in tomorrow for tales of painful falls, and broken limbs!

Divided we stand

Wow cards – a visit to here, a couple of emails and I’m musing about the Scotland/England divide. I lived in England, very happily, for about 2 years (just over). Don’t have a problem with the country or the majority of the people. I know a lot of Scots who class their ranting about the ‘bloody English’ as patriotism, but there is a degree of malice in the comments. Being a Scot I can sympathise but if you draw the same parallel of misguided prejudice under it you end up looking at the current situation in Ireland – schoolkids escorted by the army to get to school – and that’s just ridiculous. I know that’s taking things to extremes but that’s the problem with prejudice, where does it stop?

Question

What is a weblog? Good question, not sure of the exact answer either…

Caterpillar

speechtherapy is in chrysalis stage. Considering, growing and developing. Good luck Carey!

Blog monitor?

thestranger – can someone tell me how I forgot to visit owen for the last two weeks! Man I’m slipping, all I need to do is find that program I spotted – it would prompt you to visit sites on a regular basis – just the thing for a forgetful guy like me!

Shoot me

To paraphrase the world’s greatest Olympian:

If you see me near my home computer tonight, you have my permission to shoot me!

MUST go to bed the same day I woke up… just once this week would do!
