It's late

So it’s late and I’m still sitting here at the computer. Again.

There must be more to life, and even as I type this I realise that there is. I’m just too damn lazy to get off my ass and do it. I also hate the way I so easily typed ass, an American word… I much prefer arse, but it seems that the great ole U.S of A is seeping into my pores. I can’t wait for an proper International community, which should start to evolve over the next couple of years. I know there are a lot of ‘communities’ on the web. Friends of friends etc, but it’s gonna get bigger than that. Or it won’t.

Wonder Boys

Wonder Boys – good film.

Nothing spectacular, and gave me the same feel that American Beauty did (well not quite as much). Tobey Maguire was excellent, Michael Douglas was quietly superb, and for the small amount of time she had, Frances McDormand was her usual self, effective and supremely watchable. Robert Downey Jr. even managed to keep it together.

And yes I have thought about writing a book, but hasn’t everyone? Hell I’ve had a ‘story’ for ages… hmmm might be a project for me? But then I can’t even manage to get writing for this site… let alone for a book – how the hell would I find the will and the time to do that? Eh!?

Ohhh and if ANYONE from ITV2 is reading, or anyone who knows someone (or even anyone who knows someone who knows someone else) that works there – get the NBA back on – it’s been going for weeks, and I’ve still to see a game!! GET IT SORTED OUT!

In saying that I’ve never heard of Hot Death, and I’m sure shooting rocks sounds excruciatingly painful. Mind you, I’m sure being able to puke acid will be handy when negotiating my next wage rise!

Nothing

Another day, another dollar. I have heard that there is some election going on somewhere, but I doubt it’s gonna make as big an impact as people expect.

I suffer terribly from jealousy. I look around and want more than I have, and for once I’m not being unreasonable in my demands, mind you I have to wait until February, and give evidence before my demands will even be listened to, and even then I don’t expect much to come of it… damn that was a long sentence, if I wasn’t so frickin lazy I would go back and edit it, but I am lazy, and.. well I’m just adding to the problem now.

Triggered

So I’ve yet to complete the re-design, which has taken far too long… however it occured to me that the content side has fallen behind somewhat. So I’m probably going to start tackling themes – maybe the 7 sins to start (why are sins so much more fun than… ehh what’s the opposite of a sin?).

I’ve also got some thoughts kicked off by a book I’ve been reading – The Trigger. More on that later.
