- My Domain Name(s) are held with 123-reg.co.uk (as well as this domain I also own www.snowgoon.co.uk and have done since 1999).
- My hosting company is 34sp.com who are excellent, I am on a hosted WordPress server so they do a lot of the heavy lifting for me in terms of updates and security.
- This site uses WordPress for its CMS capabilities (and has done for 20 years).
- The look and feel is a very heavily customised theme that is based on Blockbase.
I am slowly chipping away at the theme with a view to having much less code, right now it’s a very bloated set of CSS, Javascript, PHP, HTML. Ultimately I may end up moving off WordPress, or, more likely, building a custom CMS that uses the database that already exists (over 3000 posts is a LOT to migrate).
In the past I built websites by hand, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and for a while I think the HomeSite editor by Nick Bradbury was my most used app.
