Photoblog?
I’m a bad amateur photographer at best, but I’m about to purchase a Canon Powershot S30 so beware! I will soon be dazzling you with my photography skills… or not…

And with that, I’m off to bed. Night-night all.

So much to say
So little energy. Long walks yesterday round Balloch Park on the shores of Loch Lomond. Emptying a loft on Saturday. It was a busy weekend. And then Monday struck and I spent most of my day trying to re-install Windows 2000, and once I managed that, re-install all the applications I use.

One quick suggestion for you all: note down every application you use, big or small, from TweakUI to Photoshop, from Winamp to Office XP, get URLs, registration codes, the works. Do it now and thank me later. Put this one down to experience!

So I now feel drained. Maybe a quick bite to eat and a shower will perk me up. Or maybe not.

P.S. On Friday night I mainly drank beer and surfed and chatted… sad geek that I am 😉

Lazeeee
The only problem with a busy weekend is that I miss all the sport. The rugby (which I don’t want to talk about), the football (Caley Thistle strike again) and F1 (another great race).
All this means that I have to wait up until 1am to catch the F1 highlights, and means I’m flipping knackered come Monday morning. Still at least I got to see two episodes of 24.

Ohhh the Oscars happened. Good to see “Road to Perdition” get Best Cinematography as it was a gloriously sumptuous visual feast, and I’m glad that Chicago did so well (having yet to see the Pianist and the Hours it is kinda difficult for me to judge).

And yes, I’ve just checked, we are still at war, and still managing to kill our own troops.

“Monday, Monday
So good to me
Monday morning
It was all I hoped it would be”

Who the hell made those lyrics up… utter rubbish… (and yes I know it was the Mamas and the Papas…)

(And yes there are no links, sorry but I can’t be bothered)

Whooosh
Quick check: I’m at home, in front of the PC. I am not at work. Wow, what a quick day!

So what to do tonight? My better half is out with her sister and a gaggle of cousins (or whatever the collective is) and I’ll catch up with her tomorrow. So I have an entire night to myself.

I could go for a walk, but I walked up the road from the station and my feet hurt now (I live at the top of a very big hill about 30 mins from the station.
I could channel surf on TV, but I just know I’ll end up watching live coverage of the war.
I could watch a movie, but the only ones we have in are ones we want to watch together.
I could read a book except I want to DO something (if that makes any kind of sense).
So I guess I’ll tidy up, make dinner and then ehh… find something to do.

What are you up to?

Abuse of power
Apologies to one and all, I updated one of yesterday’s posts as a little ‘joke’ on a friend. (Kinda one of those “bet you won’t” moments)

Anyhoo, I think he was just link whoring… but I don’t mind. That’s what friends are for, to be whored… emmm… or something… either way he can be found at Speakeasy (and I’ll leave it to him to set out his war stance).
