Sweet Child O’ Mine by Guns N’ Roses

What song reminds you of your first love?

It was our song. I bought her the single when it came out, went to John Menzies to buy it and then, I think, walked to meet her at her new (first?) job? Vague memory indeed.

  1. A few of them, all by The Cure. Lovesong, High, and Push. Push specifically as it reminds me of when we walked around London for the first time as teenagers.

As an aside, to this day, Appetite for Destruction holds up and is a bloody great album from start to finish.

  2. It sure is, and as I’ve blogged about before, this album plays a large part in my musical journey (thanks to my Dad!).
