Rewatching the old seasons ahead of the new one.
Wow. I forgot how good this was. The way each character develops, the moments of chaos and moments of calm. The way it feels so real, so fucking raw at times.
And then there is the Christmas episode which remains a very easy way to get my blood pressure up.
Not to mention the cast, the writing, the production, the soundtrack.
When good TV is good, it can be the best.

I’ve heard really good things about The Bear. And it’s on my list of things to watch. The problem there, however, is that the list seems to only ever grow and never shrink.
It’s very very good. Intense, funny, overwhelming, and probably the most ‘real’ TV I’ve watched for a long time. I cry at least once every 2 or 3 episodes, both through happiness and sadness.
