I traded emails with Om many years ago, it was no doubt on the topic of the nascent blogging boom that was happening at the time, and whilst I don’t recall the specifics, I do remember the kind consideration.
Always a sensible voice, there was a balance to his writing, a gentle worldliness, that I always enjoyed.
My thoughts are with his friends and family.

Been trying to recall what those emails were about. I think I emailed him about how he managed to stay across things and find inspiration. His response included comment about my site (at the time called SoMeTHiNG) and a suggestion to remain individual in my approach.
I can recall that much because it was the early days of blogging and I was trying to find a “place” without copying others. I don’t think I’d mentioned that. Kind and insightful.
