Digital Detox continued

As well as being a useful (to me) process, I am finding it an interesting insight into my digital habits.

For example, I can see in my blog the time I moved to blogger (lots of small pointless ill-conceived posts but ohhh such fun we were all having!), then the move to WordPress (more on that later) and then sometime around late 2016 I started taking things a little more seriously and considered what my blog represented (me) and focussed a little more on the words and the ‘craft’ I guess.

Photos also see a change, largely driven by the arrival of two daft dugs in my life, then my very photogenic son. The spike in volume of snapshots as opposed to considered photos is very noticeable.

Anyway, I’m cracking on and making some progress and posting all the nonsense here to keep me accountable (that plus repeating reminders nagging me too).

I should probably point out that I don’t have targets for any of these, so it be might that next month I’m done looking through old blog posts, or I’m happy with the Journal entries (moved from Day One that is).

After that, I hope to be more mindful of the digital legacy I’m leaving behind, regardless of the volume.
