At last I thought – I’ve skipped a lot of your blogs recently as they are all about things that are ‘beyond
my ken’- here he is talking about something I know all about, Simplicity Patterns. Sadly as I read on I realise that you are not talking about the printed tissue patterns that have been so much a part of my life. The tissue shapes pinned to the fabric then cut out and stitched into dresses, skirts, suits, shirts, trousers and memorably waistcoats and bow ties. They have all risen phoenix-like from the floor of the sitting room.
So though I’m not au fait with the ‘lingo’ thanks for stirring happy memories!
