Listening to N.E.R.D. – In search of…
Reading A Revolution of the Sun by Tim Pears.
Thinking:
“I don’t want to be at work, I wanna be outside in the sun.”
“What books should I take on holiday with me?”

bookmark_borderWhy I write this
Why do you write what you write? An oft asked question of many people who maintain a weblog/website that is available to all and sundry.
Tom answers this question in his usual, well thought out manner, and nails it perfectly.
And as usual, after reading something by Tom, I’m left wondering why I’m not that smart.

Several things have zipped past me over the last couple of weeks, here’s the pick of the bunch (IMHO):
American Traveler International Apology Shirt.
Trackback and free speech (more about this later)
We’re all gonna die! (having just finished reading Good Omens, this was especially timely)
Handspring Treo 600 – phone, camera, PDA, and a teeny tiny QWERTY keyboard.
Born shy, always shy? Temperamental differences may last throughout life.
Summer reading finder – click a name for other suggestions (starting with Iain Banks)
Or
Which book – a cool flash app, use the sliders to set your preferences and get a book recommendation. (via SixDifferentWays)
bookmark_borderAmazon RSS
Amazon RSS feeds are also now available. However these ones are not provided by Amazon but by those industrious chaps at Lockergnome. Now you can keep up-to-date with the latest products, although my bank account tells me that might not be the best idea!
bookmark_borderBBC News goes RSS
I’m pretty sure that most people on ‘the net’ know about the BBC News website. In fact if I recall correctly, it has won awards.
The team behind the website have just turned on RSS feeds for the entire site, so fire up FeedReader folks (or your chosen RSS reader) as all the BBC News indexes are now RSS’d.

So I finished work at 1:50 a.m. this morning. Not the first time and not the last. But definitely the last for a while.
