I had an excellent birthday, the meal on Friday night was superb (I’ll post details once I get home to consult the menu), and the hotel was sumptuous.
I did pretty well on the present front too, with my parents surprising me with a refracting telescope, something I know little about but will enjoy learning, and Louise got me (amongst other things) a DVD rewriter, and some WiFi equipment, so the geek in me is happy. Plus plenty of movies, books and so on. But, for the first time ever, I didn’t get any music! I’ll remedy that by buying my own of course…
Ohh yes, I got my cast off on Friday morning, so it was a good day from start to finish.
(And no, I’m not going to comment about Friday night other than to mention the double shower in the room *wink*)
