Vice City
Vice City proves runaway hit:
“The fourth instalment of the popular Grand Theft Auto video game has become the fastest selling title of all time in the UK.”

Crap, you mean I should finish level one of the third ‘installment’ (tut, tut BBC) that I’ve had for about a year or so now?

Aside: ‘Instalment’ is, to my understanding, the American spelling – based on the fact that it has one less letter than the correct spelling ‘installment’, and obviously those lazy Yanks can’t be bothered typing that double ‘ll’.

Aside 2: This was supposed to be about a fantastic and absorbing video game, and has turned into a spelling lesson. Sorry.

What are words for?
Michele reworks the ‘why do you blog?’ argument in such a way that all that is left for me to say is, hear hear!

An experiment
Actually two.
Part one: Test out how my ankle is healing by NOT wearing an ankle support today.
Result: Had to stand all the way into work on the train (30mins). Fecking sore ankle.

Part two: Try not to blog every tiny thing I see or think.
Result: Hopefully a little less than yesterday’s blogfest…

Alter-Blogging
Hmmm need a better title.

Anyone else noticed a subtle shift in the way we blog these days? With the arrival of stable commenting systems, BlogRoll etc, there is a lot less cross-linking of personal sites, instead the you get mini-dialogues between site owner and site visitor, played out in the comments box.

Could someone please draw up some rules for this please. If someone adds a comment, which is a question, or in some way requires a response, should I respond in the comments? On my website proper. On their website? Do I drop them an email?

I keep coming up with the same issue and I really don’t want to offend anyone by getting it wrong.

So, fellow bloggers, and bloggesses? (Hey, why not)… how do you handle it?

New feature: Search me baby

Just in case you want to find something particular on my site, I’ve added a search engine (it’s actually been there for about 3 months for my personal usage, but I figured ‘what the hell…’).

If you have any problems with it lemme know, especially if you get any popup ads or anything (‘cos u shouldn’t).
