Bigger and better than Big Brother : blogwhore: the webgame.

I’m hooked now, I was vaguely aware of it a few weeks back (when Christine mentioned it), and I’m slowly getting more and more addicted. Will Ernie prevail? (Hey you gotta root for someone).

OK, so it’s not really bigger than Big Brother which, like or loathe it, is getting pretty BIG. But I’m certain that it is much more fun.

We’re not a progressive nation, are we?

David Aaronovitch is a regular read of mine, we seem to have a similar outlook on many things, and again he pegs what I want to say much better than I could and with much better research, but you wouldn’t expect much less from a professional journalist, would you.

The recent move to reclassify cannabis to a Class C drug was, as he states, a bold move by David Blunkett. Unfortunately, like most bold moves on the topics of drugs, sexuality and freedom of choice in this country, this will no doubt sit in the House of Lords until public opinion has moved on. Personally I blame the class system for this kind of pervading “dregs of society” type attitude held by the, still, upper-class dominated House of Lords.

Now if someone can explain to me why, in a democracy, a Bill can stall in a ‘committee’ of unelected peoples… well I’ll be most grateful.

(I was going to work in some comments by the current ‘Toff’ in the Big Brother house but it would’ve been a clunky move across… so you’ll have to wait)

bookmark_borderJesus is E.T.

Davezilla offers us conclusive (ish) proof that E.T. is Jesus, or is that Jesus is E.T.? Either way, the proof is about as convincing as that book all those religious types keep going on about… ehh what is it called again?

(And hey look, it’s a joke, and I’m damned to hell anyway. No offense meant.)

(Ohh and please don’t contact me to tell me my soul can be saved. I, along with Bartholomew (Simpson) have already souled (sold) my soul to Millhouse…)

I know where I’ve been going wrong now, this is what I should be doing on my website, and here was me worrying about the bills that just came in, silly me, I should follow the lead of Save Karyn.

Is it a parody? A spam campaign with a website? Is it, and it is possible I suppose, serious?

bookmark_borderQuestion

I’ve got a comments system on here now. Do I reply in there to a comment, or do I post for the world at large?

Is there some kinda ruling for this? Some de facto standard I should be following (and which I’ll ignore anyway as I hate the term ‘de facto’ almost as much as I hate the fact I always imagine it being said with hand-signalled quotation marks).
Just curious.

Ohh crap, what do I do if someone posts an answer in the comments….
